    Job Description & Requirements

    Audit Response and Analysis/Collective Bargaining Renewal Preparations/Analysis

    • Supports the Union Settlement Team with management of third party audits, acting as a liaison with third party auditors, performing pre-audits to assess audit risk and providing recommendations on  process enhancements

    • Collaborates with key business partners, i.e. Labor Relations and HR, on CBA renewal preparations, ensuring data accuracy, assessing the quality of the data collected and providing appropriate changes in verbiage in contract language that will aid both the Union Settlement and Payroll teams

    • Maintain a high level of integrity with regard to information that is confidential and highly sensitive

    • Lead the team through resolution of complex issues, identify key performance metrics and measures and assist team in the achievement of goals through the use of various forms of analysis

    • Facilitate meetings and prepare presentations of quality scores and results, as needed

    • Assess business partner satisfaction and provide feedback to management 

    • Assist management with the development of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and the ongoing maintenance of process and procedure documentation  Continuous Improvement/Process Redesign

    • Ensure the development and implementation of process improvements that will allow achievement of aggressive business goals while meeting employee and customer satisfaction goals

    • Initiate and implement process re-engineering and develop appropriate measurements for deficit analysis

    • Oversees the establishment of operational best practices which drive measurable productivity, quality and customer service performance, while supporting the necessary controls and compliance Process Leadership

    • Ensure that team is properly trained in processes related to third party audit and CBA prep

    • Manage the workflow related to audits and CBA’s, ensuring that each team member has a portion of the work that still allows processing of normal union payments

    • Perform risk analysis in support of the Union Settlement Supervisor audits of payments prior to submission


    Minimum Requirements:

    Education required:  BA/BS degree from an accredited university or years of experience equivalent  


    Business experience required: 

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payables, payroll or union settlement role, requiring higher level analytics.  Preference given to experience in fast•paced consumer products, manufacturing, food service or consultancy environment • Uses business knowledge and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities

    • Strong analytical, financial modeling and critical reasoning skills

    • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive data

    • Has a high level attention to detail • Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization

    • Works well in a dynamic environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously, meets deadlines and has excellent organizational skills

    • Possess excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills which contribute to the company culture

    • Adaptable to changing environment and technology • Strong sense of urgency • Shared Services experience preferred  


    Technical Experience:

    • Expert level of proficiency with Microsoft Office – especially Excel

    • High level analytical skills, working with “big data” to determine trends, risks, and process deficits

    • Accounts Payable ERP and Payroll system experience, Prodagio and ADP preferred   Core Competencies:  Business Acumen Conceptual Thinking Problem Solving Decision Making Interpersonal Communications Customer Service Orientation Process Improvement   Working Conditions: Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.) – office environment
