    Job Description & Requirements

    The Operations CoE Leader has responsibility for the analysis of the Dean’s Foods Operations manufacturing capability, optimization and productivity sectors.  The responsibilities and skills needed, include but are not limited to:

    • Develop and implement daily cadence for each key location.  Create and execute an assessment tool to analysis gaps and needs by location.
    • Assist in development and execution of OEE tracking and improvement methods.
    • Identify and develop plans to reduce waste at key locations in the network.
    • Assist in development and execution of the annual operating budget for the Manufacturing functions.
    •  Execution of Manufacturing cadence at key locations across enterprise.
    • Implementation of process controls and standard work at key locations across enterprise.
    • Develop and execute Productivity process.
    • Facilitate, prioritize and execute innovative sources of productivity.
    • Develop and execute the Operations capability analysis.
    • Complete field ops gap and recommend changes for staffing in the field locations.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert for the Operations assisting with performance diagnosis, intervention and resolution.
    • Develop and execute the productivity pipeline to include projects in the study, pilot, and execution phase to deliver the productivity goals.
    • Support the field teams with strong change management tools supporting the National projects.
    • Hire, develop and retain top-tier professionals through appropriate training, thought leadership, timely feedback.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Strong communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and influence management skills.
    • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
    • Strong change management and project management skills.
    • Must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks without losing momentum while also completing all daily tasks efficiently and effectively
    • Must have the ability to collaborate with multiple business partners to gain insight and be able to influence outcomes
    • Must also have experience and skills related to building out a strategy and gaining support for the strategy to include presenting and aligning with Sr Management
    • Must be able to work well with field leadership to support training, development, and business needs eliminating barriers to execute required job tasks.
    • Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
    • Strong leadership skills including the management of direct reports, influencing skills with cross functional & external partners, strategic development, & selling strategy to Sr. Leaders and to the Field Leadership to deliver improved results
    • Have cross functional knowledge and collaborate with the Innovation, Product Supply, Warehouse, Sales, GTM, BIS & Safety functions to effectively partner to drive growth and productivity, as well as understand and quantify upstream/downstream impacts to the S&D functions.
    • As the Operations CoE Leader, you will be the key contact responsible for providing the overall S&D function leadership and expertise in project management & development, change leadership and support the National S&D capability, productivity and innovation agendas.  

    Required experience:

    • Design, development and implementation productivity programs in Operations sector:10 years
    • Design, development and implementation of CI and lean in plants: 7 years
    • Operations leadership inclusive of multi-plant management: 10years
    • Financial system understanding and KPI tracking: 10 years
    • CoE exposure and development: 5 years
