Job Description & Requirements

The Region Director of Customer Brands will play a pivotal role in delivering on our Customer Brands business, drive operation excellence with the execution of customer brands and will be a change agent leading our Strengthen our Private Label Business pillar of our strategic growth plan. This role will serve as the Regional point person for Customer Brands and will execute the direction and strategy as it relates to Customer Brands process, from RFP’s, customer and SKU profitability and will support the overall selling agenda.

  • Develop & Execute Customer Brands Strategy within the Region to support the national strategy.
    • Manage the balance of volume/rate/mix.
    • Develop strategic selling and service initiatives for Customer Brands.
    • Partner cross-functionally to Commercialize the Customer Brands value proposition.
    • Align and strategize Customer Brands ordering process through ECRP initiatives.
  • Drive RFP/Bid Management consistency among all product segments and leading RFP’s for 1MM gallon+ bids for Customer Brands across all regions
  • Ensure proper planning, Tracking of regional opportunities
  • Create value proposition Leverage Consumer Insights, eCRP and Dean Advantages
  • Manage Consistent Selling stores & Collaboration with Regional & National Selling Teams.
  • Manage cost structure of the Customer Brands P&L Proforma’s.
  • Drive category insights initiatives for assigned customer brands
  • Customize supply chain solutions to improve contribution margins per customer brands (DSD, Warehouse, Cross Dock)
  • Develop 3 year Planning Cycle per customer brand
    • Build Account Database
    • Work with Regional Finance on development of Customer Brands P&L and Financial Analysis
    • Conduct reviews and submit RFP’s
  • Work with functional lead to execute Innovation opportunities i.e. different size packing, Totes
  • Implement communication strategies how pricing works between markets, customer setup functions and monthly price communication to ensure all division are consistent.
  • Post analysis of volume wins to determine if we he hit expected CM and Volume across the business.
  • Cross collaboration with RSVP, DSVP, National Sales, and Supply Chain Leadership.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years in progressive sales, customer management and category/brand management experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
  • CPG background strongly preferred.
  • DSD background strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated success driving initiatives cross-functionally.
