Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms, DFA Dairy Brands, located in Lansdale, PA has an opening for one (1) HR Coordinator.

This is an exciting growth opportunity for an experienced HR professional.  Occasional travel to other worksites within Pennsylvania.  Experience with an ATS is preferred.

Hours: 1st shift Monday-Friday.  Must pass all pre-employment requirements including a physical, drug screen and background check which includes criminal.

Job Description & Requirements

The HR Coordinator supports multiple Human Resources Business Partners across a geographic region. This position is responsible for carrying out various HR programs and procedures for employees at a given DFA Dairy Brands location(s).  This position executes day-to-day Human Resources operations and serves as support for the employees. Support may be provided in-person, by phone, and/or via email.

  • Ensures positive employee relations by proactive employee communication, prompt issue resolution and fair & equitable treatment.  Serve as internal resource for employee inquiries.  Direct employee, as necessary, to the appropriate resource such as Employee Shared Service Center or Mercer Benefits Center.  At the direction of the HRBP, provides support on employee investigations at the 1st level Supervisor and hourly employee levels.  Ensures ethics & compliance process is in place.  
  • Responsible for providing ESS with accurate, complete and timely employee data updates through the completion of the appropriate standard form.  Updates may relate to new hires, terminations, employee job changes, department or work location changes, changes in pay, etc.  
  •  Support HR Business Partner in executing local and national initiatives leveraging DFA Dairy Brands change management methodology.  Support HRBP in driving business process consistencies.
  • Responsible for the administration of all job postings, utilizing the ATS system.  Manage the hourly recruiting process from posting to onboarding.
  • Responsible for the coordination of Leave Administration (FMLA, STD, CFRA, etc.), ensuring timely notification to the applicable parties (internal &/or external) are provided, the appropriate documentation is completed, and appropriate approvals are received.  Prepare for Payroll amounts to be paid to employee during leave.  Ensure consistent application of DFA Dairy Brands leave policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring maintenance of personnel files for current and former employees, ensuring compliance with internal document retention standards and external government regulations.  
  • Delivers and/or coordinates new-hire orientation, administers annual Performance Management process (including merit process), administers "local" recognition programs and coordinates local training sessions.
  • Provides Affirmative Action administration support.  Responsible for logging internal candidates/applications and managing ATS.  In the case of OFCCP Audits, gathers and assembles data for all hourly positions, coordinates with internal and external legal counsel, and provides research support.
  • Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated area. 
  •  Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates' degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience.
