    Job Description & Requirements

    The Director, Talent Acquisition oversees the Talent Strategy for Dean Foods. This individual will serve as lead of the Talent Acquisition function enterprise wide and provide day to day direction. The position will organize and manage projects, logistics, and issues related to the delivery of recruiting programs, provide talent acquisition support, including such activities as TA process improvement, requisition management, vendor management and special projects across the entire enterprise. The successful candidate will have effective communication skills, be detail-oriented, flexible, highly organized, collaborative, and professionally persistent.

    • Sets and drives the company-wide TA strategy
    • Leads corporate and field team to support sourcing, screening and pipeline management activity for various roles.
    • Oversee efforts to improve TA process efficiency including but not limited to onboarding, collaboration with internal partners (HRIS) and metrics
    • Manages the requisition process for the corporate TA function
    • Develops and drives KPI’s enterprise wide
    • Oversees and "owns"" the candidate management process, from interviewing through to candidate tracking/communication and pipeline reporting.
    • Partners with recruiters to generate sourcing strategy ideas, leverage resources and share information that facilitates an effective search process.
    • Identifies and implements national TA best practices
    • Serve as SME (subject matter expert) on sourcing, including but not limited to social media and specialized job boards.
    • Leads the analysis and reporting of sourcing effectiveness.
    • Leads quarterly Summit calls with Corporate and Field TA
    • Manages TA national vendors to include: recruiting agencies, job boards, background check, and all other pre-employment services
    • Leads special projects as assigned.
    • Develops employee value proposition strategy related to recruitment needs partnering with stakeholder supporting the global organization.
    • Continually evaluates appropriate sourcing strategies based on market review and the organizations open positions taking into consideration local and national availability of these candidates.
    • Collaborates with TA team and leadership to implement best practices for sourcing strategies, maintaining a cutting-edge approach to how this can be successfully accomplished using all available tools and resources.
    • Recommends advertising and sourcing strategies to TA Director while monitoring and tracking closing the return on investment (ROI) of all sourcing activity.
    • Demonstrates innovation related to how the organization can take advantage of these sourcing strategies and solutions while being fiscally responsible.
    • Communicates with Dean Foods; leadership and Human Resources regarding status of requisitions.
    • Maintains the confidentiality of all information.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
    • A minimum of 10 years of previous experience in Talent Acquisition and agency and/or corporate recruiting experience preferably in a leadership role helping set TA Strategy.
    • Previous experience in the successful design and implementation of recruiting, hiring, orientation processes.
    • Demonstrated full life cycle experience and success in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong PC and web systems knowledge/acumen (including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
    • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with all departments, management levels within the company, and external stakeholders.
    • Previous experience using and administering ATS (applicant tracking systems) and/or web recruiting systems is strongly preferred.
    • Knowledge of state and federal laws as they pertain to hiring and general human resources practices.
    • Experience managing a recruiting team with entry level, high volume, diverse, hard-to-find talent pools.
    • Experience identifying and securing sources of potential job candidates.
    • Experience analyzing and developing turnover and retention programs.
    • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
    • Ability to deliver and execute high-quality and consistent Talent Acquisition and Human Resources processes and services.
    • Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
